Get into my infected computer and restore every virus-ridden system by recovering game attributes like color or save functions. Explore correlated worlds in a non-linear campaign that test your skills specifically:
- Hard Disk Device: Memory

- Power Supply: Visual sharpness
- Cooling System: Measurement
Features:
- Explore the computer systems and complete them in order to restore game attributes, reduce hazards and activate new world benefits.
- Blast and dash your way through enemies and obstacles with your Jump-Pack to free the guardians stationed at the end of each system.
- Unlock new powers by completing systems or finding hidden blocks and use them later collecting bitcoins.
- Discover secrets using the binary code to help open up new areas on your adventure and relive old memories in cameo levels.
Gameplay:
- Use your weapon wisely. Holding button increases its temperature lowering fire rating and expanding firing arc.
- Use your Jump Pack while jumping to reach high places, dash or dodge hazards.
- Collect bitcoins to increase your health and activate new powers.
Byte the Bullet is in part a parody of multiple classic games. Several 80s & 90s are spoofed, and the game is primarily based in classic 2d platform games like Rockman(1987) or Super Mario Land 2(1992). Some games like Prince of Persia (1989), Doom (1993), Alley Cat (1983) were also parodied in some Levels.

As other users have complained, this game randomly reset my progress. Lost over an hour of progress the 3rd or 4th time I launched & Continue'd my save-file. Unfortunate because I was enjoying my playthrough.2 found this helpful

Aside from having pretty bad epilepsy inducing flashing and my most hated version of a double jump in any game ive ever played, it's pretty neat.
super fun game! not the greatest at any one thing, but overall great! well worth the price!
I am very happy that this game exists and that a company like Jandusoft will publish things of this nature. It is wacky, a little unhinged, and certainly creative. If you grew up on an NES like I did, you will appreciate all the little references to those old games that are stuffed in every part of the experience.
With keyboard only this game is unplayable.
