Terrible action platformer that might appear to look well-crafted, but is anything but.

The game looks great but the play is horrible. The controls are wretched, with slop on landings and off-by-a-pixel jump height keeping you from reaching what look like accessible platforms. The weapon can only be used while stationary, so landing and slicing an enemy won't happen. You will have to give them space so you can land, wait the second or so for the slop in the movement to stop, then execute the attack with enough time to allow the animation to play out so the enemy can walk into the point. This really puts the FU in fun. The objective of every stage is to kill all the enemies on the map and collect their souls before you can move to the next map and repeat the process. There are checkpoints, but every (frequent) death will reset the counter until you find one which is just a random, unmarked section of the map you'll cross. You appear to have infinite lives, so getting all the enemies is just a matter having equally infinite patience. As I do not find this compelling gameplay, I clearly do not. Neither Ghouls 'Chosts or Castlevania that this game claims to be based on required you to 100% clear every stage. The challenge was reaching the end. This game isn't much on ch…

Cool art, old school arcade game play, totally ♥♥♥♥ controls. It is as if they went out of their way to make terrible controls. I got it for less than a dollar, I'm keeping it for frustration purposes. For less than a dollar, all my other games seem that much better by comparison.
