Castlevania Dominus Collection

Came for the DS games, stayed for the Haunted Castle remake. Scratched that itch only Classicvania can scratch.

Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia are 2 of my favorite games ever made. They are Symphony of the Night tier. Dawn of Sorrow is amazing, but not quite as good IMO. If you want some good old Vania fun, you get Haunted Castle Revisited. If you want a really bad arcade game, there's the OG Haunted Castle. You get 3 of the best games ever made, an arcade game that is so bad it's funny, and an excellent remake of that arcade game. 5 games for 25 bucks. Or you could buy the newest Ball and Gun game for 70+ and all of the day one DLC. Your choice.

Never played these games before but really enjoyed them, think I prefer the advanced games compared to these DS ones however. Each game tries something new touch screen gimmicks are quite non-existent. graphically the games hold up really well much like the advanced games. Hope they look at tarting up SoTN and releasing them or getting another on par with these types of Metroidvania.

First time Castlevania, but not first time metroidvania player. It is harder than the usual metroidvania games, but fortunately this collection has some welcome additions that made it easier, with the save and rewind. These 3 games are varied, all characters feels different (extra characters as well). It is hard almost feels too old-school hardcore, but it was an enjoyable playthrough. I'll suggest that order what's in the menu, because that way the next game always feels more. ( Order of Ecclesia -> Portrait of Ruin -> Dawn of Sorrow )

I want to like it but I have had 2 crashes in not even 30 min it seems very fun if I could play it ...I know this was not in the original but save states would help this a lot its very fun but as of now I can't recommend it
