Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia are the best 2D "Igavania" Castlevania games ever made; nothing else comes close. Each game has an identity of its own and plays differently enough to offer a fresh gameplay experience. The soundtracks are amazing. The games run exceptionally well, much better than on any emulator. Castlevania Dominus Collection offers incredible value for a relatively low price. For the rest of my life, whenever I am in the mood for 2D Castlevania, I will only replay these three games.3 found this helpful
I love this collection so much. Dawn of Sorrow is my favorite DS Castlevania. But I have found a new love in both PoR and OoE too. Solid collection overall and had no problems. Definitely would recommend
The Dominus collections has some of Koji's Best work in the Castlevania series before KONAMI decided to shelve the series for the not so Castlevania reboots. You can see how the team had improved across all the previous games they've learned what works and what doesn't. All three games are really fun. Dawn of Sorrow is probably the weakest one here. However it still retains the fun Aria of Sorrow playstyle and is enjoyable. Order of Ecclesia has a very fun and unique playstyle attached to it. Portrait of Ruin is my favorite game in the entire Castlevania series. No matter what you play you're getting something good.

These games are good, but at the same time, they are slowly showing their age compared to modern Metroidvanias; the biggest issue is that this port is lame and barebones: No filters, no graphical settings, NOTHING. Save your money.
Probably the worst of the three collections.
