Changeling Tale

I love this game. I got it out of curiosity and having not gone through a visual novel in a while, so I wanted to pick one up. I'm so glad I did. Even with 70 hours and every attempt to 100% the game as best I can, I still find myself finding new things. So far, I've gotten every ending available with the current content. Every story is rife with conflict, strife, struggle, and hope. Some of them more painful or bittersweet than others. Even the spicy scenes are filled, for the most part, with an unreasonable amount of emotion to them. No 2 story lines are the same and my only qualm I have with this game so far is that the game still feels, and is according to the official website, unfinished. Almost like there's to be more to come. Please pick the game up and give it a try. If you aren't satisfied with an ending or want to see what happens with different choices, go for another ending... and bring tissues. This game is a rollercoaster.

Game has no sex SFX other than a couple moos and awoos, so I can safely play while using speakers. Though my sister always comments when Hazel is neighing.

Sadness, Romance, Returning home after trauma. You are a strapping young man, fresh from the war, who has come back to the family farm to help his grandmother. Next door, there's a trio of sisters who are all unmarried, yay! The story takes place in Scotland, in a small rural town. You'll be spending time at home, at their farm, and the surrounding areas of the town & lake. As long as you show some interest, you will get a girlfriend, yay! As you can see from some of the preview images, there is probably bedroom stuff to come. This is a slow visual novel that makes a lovely story to play in the background. The music is charming, the character expressions are warm and varied, and the magical transformations that follow are fun to experience! This VM does offer the lovely features to 'autoplay' and 'skip previously seen scenes', as well as 'back' to replay scenes you missed. Overall, a nice visual novel experience. Each sister has their own separate story path -- try them all out! Much like any dating sim, your choices will matter and the game is kind enough to point you towards your lady of choice with a subtle icon (should you choose to turn them on). The game is "finish…

I've enjoyed this story

I don't remember the last time a medium had this much of an emotional impact on me. It feels like a warm hug to play. The music, artwork, and characters are so beautiful and calming. What an amazing combination of human talent and storytelling. The transformations are very well done and cover so many angles emotionally, psychologically, and physically. It feels like they fit naturally into world rather than simply used as a plot device the world is built around. There is so much more here than sex. The connections built with the characters are deep and really make you consider the impact your choices will have on them. It's cool that the developer and writer are a husband and wife team. She is a Harvard Creative Writing graduate and it shows. The music and artwork are phenomenal as well. Go support Little Napoleon on Patreon and buy the soundtrack. I can't wait for future DLCs.
