The Intergalactic Federation of Snacks' outpost on the remote planet of Bazoik has been overrun by evil cereal-eating creatures from another dimension! These slimy "Flemoids" have taken the citizens of Bazoik captive and it is up to you and the Chex Mix Squadron to free them. Thankfully you have a handy array of "zorching" devices which can send these invaders back to their home dimension so you can succeed in your mission.

i adore chex quest the fact this game started as a silly doom knock-off to promote a cereal, only to now only be a cult classic, but to spawn 2 sequels, and a reboot over 2 decades later! and the fact people still love it is a testament to how great this game truly is #ITS-CHEXIN-TIME1 found this helpful

Chex Quest HD is an okay remake. It's more for newer audiences to experience the game rather than for old fans, but this game is still pretty good. Personally, I wish I experienced the original from 1996, but all in all, it's a good time-waster. If you are unaware, this is a game about Chex Brand™ Cereal... it's also made in the DOOM engine, so that's pretty cool. The game is around an hour long, so there just isn't enough there for me to write a super in-depth review, but it has a good variety of weapons to choose from. I don't really have much else to say about this game, but it did get me to play "Chex Quest 2 & 3," and Chex Quest 2 is by far my favorite. The levels were honestly better than some "DOOM" levels, and that is insane to admit, but it's true. I definitely recommend playing 2 & 3 after u try Chex Quest HD. You can find them online for absolutely free. Final Score (this is for Chex Quest HD, not 2 & 3) 4.8/10 Game is definitely fun, but I'd say it takes away from the original. I only say that because if Chex Quest 2 was my favorite, then Chex Quest HD could've been a little more faithful to the original.
