About Classified Stories: The Tome of Myrkah
Classified Stories: The Tome of Myrkah is a 1-2 hours micro-adventure and the first title in a series of first-person puzzle and adventure video games that follow the adventures of Jim Morrison, a private investigator living in Boston, Massachusetts.
It's 1979, and a curious letter finds its way on your office desk - an old and almost-forgotten friend writes to you asking for one last favor, begging for your help.

The writing betrays a sense of urgency, as many of the sentences are scribbled through bulbous stains of ink. Be it due to your inner sense of duty, or old-time camaraderie, you decide to meet your friend at his farm, someplace far away from the busy streets of Boston. What do you not know, though, is that this singular decision will forever blur the line between what you once considered real and what you simply disregarded as fiction.
Your old friend awaits you at the farm.

Really good and well done mystery game. Very engaging right from the start. No super long game videos to wait through till player gets controls to start playing, big plus. I liked this game a lot. Lets you play at your own pass and doesn't overwhelm the player. Great details and atmosphere here. played 3-30-26
Cheapiest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I really don't know why reviews so positive, it feels cheap at every scale.
I'd give this a 4/10, and only then as I got it at a discounted price. It's sold as a mini-game (2-4hrs play time) that forms part of a series, but given this is 4 years old, I guess the remainder of the series never materialised. I'm not quite sure where this game sits; the "adventure" components are too simplistic for lovers of adventure games, and the combat is too simplistic for lovers of FPS games. Graphics aren't bad, but much of the story is told through static cut scenes. Talking of story, I didn't really understand what was going on: arrive at spooky house, shoot a few monsters, free the girl. On the plus-side, I thought it had quite an eerie, Lovecraftian atmosphere to it.
uhhhhhhhhhh not terrible... but where's the rest of it?
I played both this and Color out of Space back-to-back, both of these are short but very fun games. I hope they make another one because I will definitely pick it up. Great Lovecraft style with some fun simple combat and good atmosphere. I recommend both games if you are curious. You can customize KB\M, there is no FOV slider but the default was good for a 32” 2K Monitor. Buy it and play it
