Story

"We have learned that a huge asteroid will hit the earth in 10 days."

Five days ago, in the middle of the autumn holidays, such an absurd statement was suddenly announced.
What kind of idiot would frown at such a statement?
However, the words were delivered to me through a dirty cathode-ray tube in the voice of an inorganic announcer, not a group of people from some seedy new religion.

Thus, the world has certainly changed.
The social infrastructure completely collapsed.
Violent assaults and food fights by desperate people abounded.
The world seems to be in a terrible state.

However, ...... that is only in urban areas.
In a rural area like this, the world is no different.
For the past five days, there has been no looting or assault in the countryside where I went back home, just a slow, peaceful passage of time.

It was as if there was a gaping hole in time .......
In that time, I inadvertently reunited with her.
I had done it. ......
Oh, how could this happen?
It was an event I feared more than the end of the world.

[後半に日本語レビューあり]
A Personal-Scale Apocalypse: Quiet Reunion Romance in a Doomed Countryside
An asteroid will hit Earth in 10 days. Cities devolve into riots and looting, yet in the rural town where the protagonist returns, nothing changes at all. Time drifts on in eerie calm. This is a linear, branch-free text adventure depicting an "apocalypse on a personal scale." At the heart of the story lies the shifting distance between the protagonist and this childhood friend. Though they exist in an extraordinary situation where the world may end, the air between them remains stubbornly ordinary -- and all the more bittersweet for it. The contrast between urban chaos and rural tranquility, between planetary catastrophe and personal emotion, is woven throughout the narrative, making this a distinctive entry in the "end-of-world" genre. The protagonist's introspection runs deep, and at times his indecisiveness may test the reader's patience. Breaking promises, lashing out at the person he cares about -- this cl…

Kinda disappointed that the devs don't read emails which seems to be the only proper way to report bugs. The bug I believe a common for everyone, some text doesn't get displayed normally but certanly exists and visible in a log. It happened quite a few times. I noticed it only because I use textractor and it gets extracted with other lines. (no spoilers) The game is nice for it's price, but there's not much to see visually or event-wise, necessity of some stuff (esp. 1 character) is dubious, other characters don't speak much and the read overall is a bit shallow.
