What is this?
The concept of COMPOUND started as an attempt to move away from the 'wave shooter' formula common in early indie VR titles and towards a fuller FPS experience, built from the ground up for room-scale Virtual Reality. The trade off is that this game may not be suited to players who are still coming to grips with VR.

Just me! This is a passion project; I've had great fun working full time on COMPOUND for the last 6 years.

This game is too hard!
Rogue-lite games are supposed to be hard! But don't give up - you'll get better with every (doomed) run. Eventually you'll master the game and its systems and feel like a pro. If you are still getting frustrated, try playing on easy mode, or head over to the practice area to practice fighting an enemy you are having trouble with. I also added a guide for new players that is pinned in the forums. Please read it for tips on how to survive!

Unfortunately the feeling of motion sickness just doesn't go away for some people. But that's fine! COMPOUND should be perfectly playable using only teleportation. Also, there are all sorts of comfort options that might help prevent or lessen motion sickness. Please take a look at the options and try various combinations. You might find with a little tweaking you can make it feel right for you.

Great VR game, might even be the best VR FPS I've played, the retro look of the game helps add to the charm of the arcade like combat, still have many more hours of game to play but I can say it plays well and is a fun time.1 found this helpful
Very satisfying vr shooter.
game hard, but game fuuun. Shooting the corpos feels great and you can akimbo anything if you're cool enough!
Fantastic. I am picky about this type of game, and the mutations allow me to tailor it to taste.
Score: 7/10 I would give this a higher but sadly I won't because this game doesn't have cloud gaming sadly It's a pretty fun Pixel retro VR shooter I enjoyed trying out The completely different types of guns from the blue pistols end to the rocket launchers and all the crazy fun stuff there is in the game Kind of little sad that I won't be able to carry it through other PCS When completing it :/
