About Containment Breach
Aim For The Head
The only way to kill zombies is by shooting them in the head. However, each of their arms can absorb bullets unless you shoot them.. or explode them off. Shooting limbs wastes ammo but rewards you with more points.

Upgrade
Each run starts the same, just you and your pistol. Kill enemies to get points to buy up to five different perks and ten different weapons. Each weapon can be upgraded up to two times to obtain elemental modifiers.

Escape Or Survive
Follow the objectives to make your way out of the facility as fast as possible, but you will have to override the vault door, and that can attract a lot of attention... Or you can choose to stay and survive as many rounds as possible.

Feedback Appreciated
This is my first game I have put out there so feel free to leave any feedback and I will work on updating the game to address any balance issues, game breaking bugs, and unclear mechanics. I have already gathered a list of player feedback to implement soon.

About The Developer
Hello. I am a solo developer making games after my 9-5 job. This is my first game I have actually managed to released and I did most of the art myself (I am mostly a programmer). I plan to push updates to address player feedback as it comes in, and i really appreciate it. In the meantime ill be working on an expanded idea of this game that will include a base-building and tower defense mechanic, as well as multiplayer.

7/10 Containment Breach plays like classic Call of Duty Zombies, but in a top-down format. The core loop focuses on surviving waves of enemies, managing space, and upgrading over time, making it easy to jump into and hard to put down. If you enjoy old-school Zombies gameplay and don’t mind the top-down perspective, Containment Breach offers a familiar and satisfying experience.3 found this helpful
The top down view is horrible and too zoomed in. Balancing is awful as the more you play the more enemies are stacked together with no room to move around. The map is too small and there is not enough room for the player to kite the zombies around in a circle effectively without getting stuck on some small object they thought was see through and 2D not 3D. The map is way too small and confusing to navigate. The enemies are always stacked together way too much in the later rounds. It is making the game harder just by pilling things on top of one another instead of it actually being hard. This game is a hard pass from me. I tried my best to reach wave 20 but I feel like it is not possible for me as the game is awful to play and it does not give the players enough options for it.1 found this helpful
I love this Game!! I play this game everyday before I jump into anything else!! I blast these walkers while bobbing my head to that hard ass beat playing in the background. Guns are great, mystery box is dope, it feels balanced and beatable and fukn fun. Get this game, add me and let's rock this game. I look forward to anything you create Dev. 4/5 stars!1 found this helpful
Solid little game, I managed to find a way to cheese at the beginning and then all hell let loose. Really enjoyed my experience though! Fully recommend the game1 found this helpful
"Containment Breach" is a poorly made 2D retro top down shooter that loosely (and badly) simulates close quarters firearm combat against zombies. This does look like it's genuinely made, but good intentions alone aren't enough to make a great PC gaming experience... this almost feels like an Adobe Flash game. What do you do in the game? It really is just limited to some janky top down shooting as you try to shoot and escape the building. There's a few upgrades and stuff, but it's ultimately shallow and unengaging. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. In terms of visuals, this features really godawful MS-Paint tier "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What ma…
Overall its a good game with even better potential. Constructive criticisms: [*] Cramped spaces make maneuvering unnecessarily challenging [*] Health drops FAST. Could use armor upgrades. [*] Since ammo exists, a lack of it also exists. A melee option would be nice. [*] Remapping keybinds is a must. Sometimes I'm boneheaded and aim when I mean to run because I'm used to shift being for running.
