About Coral Cove

Azure waters, vibrant corals and busy flocks of fish are what used to await you a few meters under the water surface. But the damages of pollution have extinguished most of this. With only a few corals left, it is up to you to restore the once beautiful ecosystems in this relaxing match 3-like game. But beware of the dangers lingering underwater and your slowly depleting stock of corals.
You start with nothing but a few tiles to build on and a small hand of coral cards to place. Three corals of the same level merge into a new coral of the next higher level. Through clever planning and strategic placement your corals will soon expand into a large, lively reef.
Explore the seafloor to find new challenges, quests and special structures to help you with your run. Expand your reef to unlock different areas and advance to new places. But watch out for the dangers you and your coral reef will have to face.
Short rounds, numerous hindrances to overcome and always new strategies to build and advance encourage replaying again and again.

The expanses of Coral Cove await you!

Very impressive for a free game, and actually a good puzzle/merge game in general! My only issue was that it fried my PC until it turned itself off, before I tweaked several settings. But there ARE a lot of settings. You can save any time, choosing from several slots, and the game seems to autosave when you quit. I would have preferred if more of the features were explained without having to visit the in-game wiki. Took me a bit too long to do that and find out that damage from those shockwaves isn't that hard to avoid. Other than that, I've been having a good chill time with this game. Easy rules, but just challenging enough if you want to get further. Laid-back music, satisfying sounds. You can level up and unlock new features and modes to keep things interesting for a good couple of hours. I was going to say it's a fantasy game in a setting where coral reefs can be saved by anything other than not boiling our oceans. But the in-game wiki is actually educational about corals and restoration efforts in addition to explaining the game mechanics! I thought the educational parts would be boring, but I checked them out for the sake of this review. And you know what? I actually f…

This is a great relaxing game with interesting facts about coral. Would love a game mode in which running out of tiles wouldn't be the end though. I just want to infinetely grow my coral reef. <3

It's an amazing little match 3 game! Love the ambiance, the music and the pastel colors rlly give it a lot of charm. And while the rules are simple, it can get quite tricky if you want to strive for a good score. I'd say that you ought to watch your time with this one, because hours simply slip by as you play and think on your next move. All in all, glad to have found it.

Coral Cove is a space‑management, puzzle and simulation game built on a hex‑grid foundation. Mixing, upgrading, merging and allocating corals is surprisingly fun and stays challenging thanks to quest requirements, a limited card pool and tight space constraints. Dead tiles and ocean plants block expansion early on, but clearing them earns experience, which unlocks useful perks. The real challenge comes from using your coral deck strategically: placing level‑5 corals exactly where you need them, managing your limited space and making sure you never break the connection to your central coral. The game design looks simple at first glance but it absolutely rewards planning and thoughtful management The ocean‑themed visuals give the whole experience a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Really enjoyed this little cozy coral reef building strategy game, it is fun to play. Also, I think if there were a statistic between other players who played the game before, when you end the game, to compare with your results, it would be cool!
