Decided to buy this because I was a fan of the art style and I'm a sucker for a roguelite. The gameplay is fairly simple at the base level but, since there's no tutorial I wasn't able to accurately address my mistakes and improve. There doesn't seem to be a tutorial apart from brief, nondescript instructions which consisted of "press right click to block" and that was it. Apart from that there are 4 different items you're meant to pick up and balance in a way that would lead you to winning so long as you timed the blocks correctly. That last point is where my frustration lies, the sword indicates +1 to "actions" but, I don't know what the "actions" are. The wands take 1 second off the round time which helps you progress a little faster, the coins are money but, the amount you get is rather pitiful considering that a new character is 1000 gold once you unlock the corresponding achievement and the last item are "cups" and they heal you for +3 which is abysmal and since most of the upgrades have a detriment to them that I was never given an explanation on, I end up losing once the stars seemingly begin to hunt you when there are significantly more than previous rounds.
