Dark Messiah Might and Magic Multi-Player

This is just an extra "Multi-Player" to a fantastic "Single-Player" game.

It should’ve been chivalry before chivalry, but instead its like monty python reenacting Lord of the Rings with rubber swords and poor server stability. Fun for a laugh, but no one stuck around long enough to call this a real multiplayer scene.

I like it.

Players can choose from various character classes and engage in modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. While these modes function as expected, melee characters like warriors can feel out of place in a primarily shooter-oriented environment. The Crusade mode adds depth, pitting humans against undead in a strategic battle for control points, reminiscent of EA's Battlefield games. Players progress through interconnected maps, earning experience points and leveling up to enhance abilities. Class switching upon respawn allows for flexibility, with options like mages, archers, and healing priestesses. However, the multiplayer suffers from a lack of impactful combat feedback. Swords clashing often go unheard, and players must rely on a status box to gauge damage dealt or received, detracting from the immersion. While the multiplayer offers a different experience, the melee combat feels less engaging, making it unlikely to become a preferred choice for multiplayer gaming.
