I love the walking dead
Every positive thing I might have wanted to say has been completely overwritten by that ending.
It took me 27 hours to realize that this is not even a video game, this is simply a medium used by Kojima to punish you for being foolish enough to give him money. I honestly can't recommend against it, because it is an amazingly well designed game, almost flawless in it's stupidity and pointlessness. Unfortunately, it was designed by Kojima the biggest psychopath in game development history someone please put a stop to this guy he is a menace. He makes you sit through a 4 hour unskippable cutscene double fake ending just to tell you a contrived story about nothing, but that's the point. Also I guessed the plot twist and real villain in like 5 hours, this guy is not even close to as smart as he thinks lmao. Nice job Kojima, I hate you.
Unlike my kids, I love this game unconditionally :)
Its weird, frustrating at times. The directors cut definitely felt about 5 hours longer than it needed to be. The menus require way too much clicking. But I still thoroughly enjoyed this game. The story, characters, graphics, and world building are top notch. The game mechanics are good as well - you can feel your progress as you help reconnect the world and make your own job easier in the process. Recommend for sure. Looking forward to playing the next one once its on sale.
