Warning: Asset Flip!
Defense: Abominations is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. An example of the many assets in the game taken from real developers and used without credit (with the intention of misleading gamers) is the Fuzz Zombie created by Lance, on ArtStation. It's unclear if the developer even obtained permission to use this asset. Assets on ArtStation are covered by copyright and cannot be used without permission. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The gameplay is very clunky and unpolished, it's evident the developer just dumped o…

I like the games look and the fps tower defense concept. A few simple things I think would really help the game out- 1) More sounds. All you really hear is music and gunfire... monster noises and perhaps more ambient stuff to add atmosphere would be pretty cool and I think the games style would lend itself well to it. 2)More feedback from the game. At first it was super staggering to play this game. All of a sudden monsters are all up on me. The way the game tells you waves are progressing is kinda subtle and lacks efficiency as well as flavor. Add a cool sound as a wave starts or ends to let the player easily know whats going on. A good example would be COD Nazi Zombie mode. I think these 2 things would help add a lot of life to the game. Everything kinda feels static and dead but it wouldn't take much to really enhance it and make it immersive. I'm going to leave it at that but the game does have potential it's just too bad.

A rather lackluster and slow wave based fps. It's a bit of a grind but sadly one of the better asset flip type games. While I would avoid this one it may not be a bad option if you want a cheep and very simple game.

An extremely fun game! I enjoyed every bit of this tower defense type game, the level's are a bit of a grind but seems necessary for gameplay and progression reasons. Very straight forward and very beautiful maps. My only complaint is that the hand gun and the turrets have different sound volumes, so your main gun will be basically silent but the turret will bust your eardrums out. I liked this game and I give it a 8/10 for the type of game that it is.

Just bought this game yesterday and in my opinion it's an okay game for the .89 cents i spent on it. Not worth the $2.99 tho. the game isn't that bad for me to give it a dislike but it could sure use some work. First off the music is not fitting for this kinda game, The Music should be more intense and scary. There should be sounds for the Dinosaurs, Zombies, and other creatures in the game to add to the suspense and overall feeling of the game. The stamina bar depletes too fast, and our health gets wiped out too quickly. 2 to 3 hits from the enemy and your dead. This can get rather frustrating at times especially since the uptempo music is playing and there's no sound from the creatures they can easily get you from behind. Your character should be able to crouch, aim down sights and have use of melee weapons as well. I won't uninstall this game yet but will wait to see if the developers will put out any updates to make an okay game an even better game.
