What you need to know: This game was made for one reason and one reason only: People didn't like the ending of Deponia 3. And Doomsday tells you one thing: It could've been worse. This game is three levels on top of the whacky humor you already know and love from the previous installments. No one would've thought that Rufus could be an even bigger ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than he was before. But this game is prove. Other than that, it's more of the same: More riddles, more whacky landscapes and crazy characters, some of the trilogy even get some backstory (e.g. Lotti, my beloved). Even though I think that the ending could be more a happy one, I still find this game nice to play. I got to see new characters, new designs of Goal and similar, all of which are well thought out and show that the game creator put their efforts into them.
Brilliant the whole series, I'm sorry it had to end.
Honestly, shocked. I went in skeptical and disappointed after the third game, but I surely didn't expect that this one would become my favorite game in the series. It surely is still not perfect with messed up plot points, ridiculous riddles that are impossible to solve without guides, and some insensitive jokes, but it has soul in it. I loved the new mechanics and the overall story. This game never allows you to get bored even for a second. There is so many locations and cool characters that it is difficult to point out something specific. In short, wow

Please don't do quests with time loops and timers anymore. I don't want to comment the story. I didn't like it, but I see that other players like it a lot. So I guess it's my problem only. I like the "chapters" idea a lot. It's very nice, except there infinite "retries again and again". If player have not enough time to check something or think, it's not fun to do same things again 10-20 times in a row. Small areas with a few items are so much better than the "opened world" and I like it a lot. I wish this game is more like Edna and Harvey's New Eyes. If you do something like Edna it would be a blast and insta-buy for me :)
