One of the Most Promising Horror Games I've Played Devil of the Plague is a solo or co-op horror game where you explore unique maps, collect ritual items, and complete objectives while trying to survive terrifying monsters that are constantly hunting you. Trust me, you are never truly safe. As you complete runs, you'll level up and unlock new skills that make future runs more interesting and rewarding. This progression system gives you a real reason to keep coming back. In my opinion, this is already one of the best indie horror games available and easily one of the most promising ones. I truly believe the developers have created something special, and I'm confident they'll continue expanding it with even more amazing content. Here's why I think it's worth your time: ⭐ Atmosphere The atmosphere is incredible. The game constantly builds tension, the jump scares are genuinely effective, and every chase gets your heart racing. The bosses feel intimidating, and the sound design perfectly complements the horror experience. Everything comes together to create an immersive world that keeps you on edge. 🎮 Gameplay The gameplay is one of the game's greatest strengths. The mechanics …

The game is solid!! i really do hope the Dev's keep pushing more content for this game. The game challenges you to have good team work/communication with good jump scares. For the Price this game sells for, how could you pass it up? Keep it up Dev's!!!

I mean, it really just is like DEVOUR just a little bit easier as we have beaten the first map as 2 on the first attempt. However, I would still prefer DEVOUR over this. Performance is fine, de-sync was horrendous. The atmosphere and cheap jumpscares are also not quite catching me. The sounds are solid tho. Idk. Sometimes I wish Steam had an "it's okay" recommendation button

Was not expecting that much from this game. The Ai cover art gave off a "Asset flip" vibe. But once was started playing the game turned out to be much more in-depth and creative than first thought. The difficulty ram is great. and the scares are pretty good. My friend had to quit playing because of how intense the pacing and horror. and I mean that in a good way.

I've been playing Devil of the Plague for a while now, and I really enjoy it. The atmosphere, dark visual style, and overall design are excellent. The game has a lot of potential, and I truly appreciate all the hard work you've put into it. However, I have a few suggestions that I believe would make the game even better: Please improve the game's optimization. The lag and performance issues make it very difficult to play, especially during intense moments when it becomes almost impossible to move properly. These performance problems have a major negative impact on the gameplay experience. Please consider adding a room map. It's very easy to get lost, and having a map would make exploration much more enjoyable and less frustrating. Please allow players to store collected Hearts and Pages, for example in the Chapel. I tried doing this, but they simply disappear. Since Mandrake Roots can already be stored this way, it would be great if Hearts and Pages worked the same way. The current level feels extremely difficult. There are too many enemies, and the enraged King moves incredibly fast, making the level feel almost impossible to complete. I enjoy difficult games, but at the moment …

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Absolutely Recommend! I picked up The Devil of the Plague because it was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance! The horror atmosphere is fantastic from start to finish, and the jumpscares actually got me more than once. The game does a great job of keeping the tension high without feeling unfair. One of my favorite parts is the gameplay mechanics. I really like that you're constantly switching between running for your life and actually being able to defend yourself. It keeps every encounter exciting and makes the gameplay feel fresh. I played the game solo during one of my live streams, and both I and my viewers had an amazing time. Everyone was hooked and really enjoyed watching it! That said, I honestly think this game would be even more fun with a group of friends. If you're looking for a horror game with great atmosphere, solid mechanics, and plenty of scary moments, this is definitely one to pick up. 10/10 – Highly recommended! And if you'd like to see my playthrough, come hang out with me on Twitch! 👻 koto_97
