Very atmospheric and intriguing game that offers an immersive experience and is brimming with potential. The premise is fairly simple however engaging, and I overall enjoyed the gameplay, although believe that the execution (mainly of the "+" mode) could've been more polished, by for instance making some anomalies more obvious or generally just incorporating more variety into the gameplay loop. The ambience is what truly impressed me; a lot of the horror relies on the typical old web jumpscare style (which is nostalgic on its own lol), yet with certain parts feeling genuinely heavy, uncanny and nerve-wrecking due to the surrealism and horror mix. I'm quite interested in the lore too; despite being presented in a vague way, it manages to captivate and builds a solid foundation for a great story. Although the game still feels rather rough in some areas, I'm glad that it's being actively worked and and am looking forward to future updates and expansions! („ᵕᴗᵕ„)20 found this helpful
Another amazing and unique horror game from a genius dev. This spookymcdoogle guy's creativity is off the charts. I thought the length was perfect and it was mixed up nicely. 9/102 found this helpful
Excellent in concept, cute references, but the classification system all gameplay is centered around is utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Numerous pieces of media have a class that makes zero sense based on the criteria given in the text documents (i.e. why is the clown website S rank when there's literally nothing going on with it?), and the advanced Netscan entries which feature five new classification categories as opposed to the original three are downright impossible to classify correctly nine times out of ten. You're only allowed fifteen mistakes, so good luck ever getting through all hundred (or at least I presume it's a hundred) entries to see the actual ending, especially when the only guide out there is woefully incomplete. As much as I loved I Live Under Your House, most everything developed by SpoocleMacBoogle since then has been a colossal disappointment, Dingir OS included. I can't even psych myself up for the Under Your House remake at this point, now that my expectations are utterly gutted.2 found this helpful
This game had me furiously clicking 777 times just to snag a promo code. It's packed with relentless, low-budget jump scares, and yet, one still managed to catch me off guard.1 found this helpful
An interesting horror experience. I had a lot of fun with this one. It's unique and has some great old-school creepypasta vibe. Really fun. Try it out.
I absolutely loved the little references given from general internet history within NetScan and practically all over the game, some endings felt as if they were up to the players interpretation which is always something I enjoy thinking about. The style of the game is unique in its own way although some anomalies are either way too obvious or really ambiguous due to the lighting and resolution of the images. loved it either way
