Sunray OS

Excellent investigative indie game with a memorably dark ending. Highly recommended.

Sunray OS is a very contained experience, which has its ups and downs. As an entry in the "fake computer" genre, it's fairly minimalist -- there aren't many programs on the computer, you only need to interact with most programs once, and a lot of the buttons on the websites are clickable but don't lead anywhere. The dev team seems small, so I understand why there isn't more content. As it is, everything in the game points you directly to the next plot point. The plot is pretty engaging. After a brief (but strange) intro to your new system, you're tossed right into the big mystery that looms over the whole game -- where did this computer's previous owner go? I liked the direction the story went, it was a cool and novel (to me, at least) idea that was just on the verge of making real social commentary (it reminded me a bit of the cashier-free Amazon store scandal from a few years ago). The characters are somewhat bare-bones, they're only here to keep the plot moving and not to be interesting in their own right. J4Z3 and Ryan could've had a lot more emotional depth to them. this game is not too scary. but the jumpscares scared me. it has realistic computer things and i like the story.

That's the life of an AI, just waiting, waiting for people to ask their boring questions. Really made me think, good job.

I enjoy it. Not the best, but is not bad.

I really enjoyed this game. It was a fun, short experience. The story was quite nice, but I found the puzzles a bit difficult. The price is okay. I'm a little surprised that hardly anyone knows about the game, considering meta horror has become such a popular genre. I can recommend the game.
