I gave this game a chance based on its looks, but the story ended up being very enjoyable. Excellent for the autumn season.1 found this helpful
Pretty decent hidden object game. The art is beautiful and beautifully creepy, the items are hidden well, there's tons of notes and stuff to learn about the story, and there are puzzles that use information from said notes to solve them! I quite liked the story and writing, it was fairly interesting, and paired with the great visuals it created a great atmosphere and a surprisingly compelling main character. The main issue I had was that some of the puzzles just didn't make sense, or at least I couldn't figure out how to solve them. The second to last level specifically, I have no idea what I was supposed to do there, I had to use a guide to solve it. You'll most likely need a guide at certain points in this game. All in all, if you like hidden objects and love some creepy atmosphere, this is a fun short game to try out. It's never outright scary, so even if you dislike horror, you can appreciate it. It's definitely one of the first games the creator has made, so go into it expecting jank, but if you're like me then the passion is what really makes a good game. This has lots of potential either way, and I'd love to see what the creator goes on to create!
It wasn't what I expected.
This game is upsetting and not in the way you want a horror game to be, the visuals are ok and the stories are interesting. However, it's not very scary and more importantly, there is a lot of nonsensical pixel hunting and clicking around on the final puzzles for each chapter. It was a letdown.
In this game it is virtually impossible to see the items you're supposed to be finding, and the hint system is garbage. This game takes "hidden object game" to such an extreme that not only are the items hidden, they're UNFINDABLE! Save your money. If you like HOGs, there are far better ones out there.
First creepy, then weirdly sweet, then captivating, in that order. Worth its cost in fun.
