Dragon's Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage

I want to preface this by saying that the full game works just fine and I'm not having this issue with the game itself, just the character creator. Every time I open this character creator, it gives me a pop-up every time I change screens about not being able to create a save, then it'll let me create a character, but when it comes time to save it, everything is deleted. I've played the game itself plenty at this point and I just want to play around with the character creator and make characters here, but because the base game and the character creator use the same save file I guess, once you have a save in the main game, the character creator won't save any data. This is crap.

WILL crash during creating your character, both in the actual game AND in this creator. Capcom is just very bad at optimizing games or anything for pc in general. You gotta make sure you lower your graphics to the point where you are painting your character with pixel art and hope it looks how you imagine it in your head when you load it into the actual game, IF you actually make it through the entire character creation process without it crashing and then the crash report crashing, forcing you to restart your entire system.

This is honestly a very versatile character customization option, but within the 74 minutes that I played it crashed 3-4 times. I tried saving after every action I did as well since I kept losing progress. But after it crashed for the final time, and I was satisfied that it had saved, I couldn't edit anymore and it immediately crashed. I have the resolution relatively low, and the fps capped at 60, but it still refused to let me go longer then 20-30 minutes without kicking the bucket. It's worth the headache if you don't mind the crashes, but it's very frustrating to say the least.

this is the only way PC users can save characters. And it still crashes constantly lol 3+ years later
