About Dreaming Isles
You're a lost mariner, tossed upon the shores of an abandoned island. This was once a farm, and perhaps it could be again. There are other islands around you to explore, and many people to meet and share your time with. But not all is well in the Dreaming Isles. The waring factions of pirates and trade vessels have caused strife for the islanders. They need your help to find their way again.
Dreaming Isles is a wholesome farm life sim that combines high seas adventure, relationship building, Zelda-like exploration, and sword & sorcery. Grow your farm, win the hearts of the Islanders, harness spell stones, fight monsters, side with the Pirates or with Global Trade, and explore the world of the Dreaming Isles.

The game was released in an unfinished state and has not been updated since release (which has been one year as of posting this review).10 found this helpful
A fun game with interesting mechanics. The piracy aspect is enjoyable, but is slightly spoiled by the fact that there's a bug impacting your ability to engage in naval combat if you're using controllers instead of mouse+keyboard. Bought on sale for $3, and is a very nice game for that price. If I paid the full $15 tho, I would be mad about the bugs. <EDIT> Okay, I was willing to let a lot slide with this game, given the small studio size. However, THE DEV NEVER FINISHED THE STORYLINE. You CANNOT complete the game. Two of the towns will NEVER be accessible. The dev has abandoned the game, and I now regret even paying $3 for this. It could have been great, but the dev abandoned the game halfway through, and didn't even have the decency to call it early access. Shame. Shame. Shame.3 found this helpful
I just got this game for 2.99 and have been playing it. I have to say its better then so many ive purchased and refunded and demos ive played. I dont understand why so many bad reviews. It looks like the dev tried to update and with so many bad reviews i cant blame them for just walking away. If you read this, just know there are people who would and will appreciate your hard work. Its unique and quirky and a good way. Thank you for the game, I am enjoying it more then some of my games.1 found this helpful
Fantasic very similar to Stardew valley, didn't expect it have much of a story but was met with a nice surprise! I would give it an 7.9/10 but I have only played for 3.5 hours might fluxuate while I play :) I also love the princess bride refrence.1 found this helpful
I loved what I played of this game. The graphics are beautiful, with each island being entirely unique. The combat was satisfying and learning how to do the naval combat was fun and something I haven't done in a game before. The farming was great-no watering and making the fertilizer was simple and went down the whole line of crops. Maybe having an NPC suggest creating lines of crops versus 3x3 crops might be helpful for this. The politics of pirates vs global trade was interesting without becoming too intense or boring. I loved the fishing card game and found myself stuck in the "one more round" loop. Crafting and cooking are easy. I wish the dev would have released the game as early assess and kept the harsher critics at bay. The base of this game is so promising and my biggest complaint is that I want more. Even knowing the game is stalled, I enjoyed the time I got out of it and would pay for it again.
I feel like a kid again exploring an old game I loved. Thank you so much for this.
