About デュエホロ (DUEHOLO)

Genre: Deck-building roguelike card RPG
Strengthen your deck by Card Battle to clear stages!

Card RPG

A solo game where you fight like a TCG using cards.
The opposing characters are holoLive talents and their listeners and mascots!
There are 35 hololive talents from JP gen 0 to Secret Society holoX who will appear as the opposing characters and card illustrations!
There will be 8 playable characters, one from each gen, who will be your alter egos!
(Sakura Miko, Aki Rosenthal,Oozora Subaru, Ookami Mio, Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame, Omaru Polka, Hakui Koyori)
Each character has a completely different ability, and the deck must be constructed to match that ability!

"I don't know much about hololive..."
Don't worry, you don't need to know much about hololive!
Not knowing much about hololive does not affect the rules or strategy of the game!

In a match (battle), the hand is retained, one card is drawn each turn, and the maximum MP (the value of cost consumption) is increased by 1.
And there is a system in which the lower the HP, the higher the attack power, making one-shot reversals possible!
The later the game goes, the more damage is done and the more exciting the system becomes!

Deck Construction

Acquire cards after battles or at the store to develop your deck into a powerful one.
The number of cards in the deck is always 20. Each card in the deck is important!

In the cards, hololive talents are illustrated !
It might be fun to collect cards of your OSHI!
Make your best deck and show it off on SNS with #DUEHOLO!

Rogue-like

If you lose, you have to start from the beginning. That's what roguelike is all about.
Even if you lose on the way, get the hang of it and move on to the next round!
Choosing the right route is also important to win the game!
Choose the right route with an eye on the future.
"I'm not good at this kind of game... I've never played this kind of game before..."
It's okay if you've never played this kind of game before!
There is a tutorial mode to help you learn the rules of the game while enjoying the dialogue between Shirakami Fubuki and Usada Pekora!

If this is your first time playing DUEHOLO, we recommend you to play the tutorial mode.

Difficulty Level

If you're still worried... or if you think "you are too good for this game.", don't worry!
There are three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard!

In Normal mode, if you lose, the difficulty level will decrease according to your previous results.
In Hard mode, the difficulty level does not decrease even if you lose.
Very Hard is a more difficult mode for those who know how to play.

Of course, you can gradually get used to it and clear from Normal to Very Hard!

Achievements and Rewards

If you clear the achievements in the game, you will be rewarded with an illustration of the hololive talents...?
See for yourself!

Fun little game, very math heavy and there's not much content, but characters offer a lot of replayability and can vary from improving basic gameplay aspects to using very niche strategies.

Actually a good and challenging deck builder game. I wish the pool of available cards was slightly bigger and more varied, but the game compensates for that with a good number of starting abilities to choose from, each calling for a different playstyle and creating a deck-building puzzle of sorts. The Normal mode is a good introduction and an "inevitable win" mechanic for casual players, while the Hard mode (and above) provides a substantial challenge that will force you to learn and gain a deeper understanding of the mechanics. Paired with all the challenges, there's plenty of game to be found here for a rather inexpensive package. Suffice it to say, if you like deck building rougelikes, you'll get your money's worth. The only critique I have is a lack of proper touchscreen support. As it stands, it's only somewhat playable on my Microsoft Surface, and even that's only if I keep my keyboard cover plugged in (doesn't register the touches otherwise). Though that may be just a Surface thing, since I've had similar issues with similar games.

Cute game. Pros: - Hololive - A lot of charm - Quick and replayable - Fun cards - Each game is randomized and there are a lot of unique battle combinations you can run into - Awesome girls!!! Cons: - No Steam Achievements support despite the game having achievements in-game - No Fullscreen or any resolution settings at all - There seems to be no risk in selecting Random Events making it just a skip - The UI doesn't tell you what the card looks like that you just got rid of in Random Events, I'm always very confused on what card I just got rid of - Lack of an animation or image or anything is a bit disappointing when choosing to heal

I just played it because it's a Hololive deckbuilder, but it has really good stuff. Runs are quick and your deck is only 20 cards that get replaced as you get new ones. It's very easy to start one run after another and see what combos you can do. The only issue for me is that cards are hard to read, but you get used to it after a while.

Might be a tad too short on content, but the gameplay is solid enough to not worry about that Also still crazy how this whole game was made in WOLF RPG Editor
