June 2026. The game is a great concept, but I wouldn't claim it has enormous potential. Unlike the game's predecessor, this one is far more focused on zombies and less about nature itself. Do not but this game until at least January 2027. In its current state, the QoL is so low that your people will starve while holding food, or die of thirst while holding water because you haven't hit the right buttons. It is unrealistic about death to the point of absurdity, and if someone is dying there is no indication whatsoever. Needs at least another 6 months to become "playable."

The game is incredibly micro-heavy at the moment and lacks balancing. For example, early on you want to get a lot of grass. To auto-harvest grass, you have to select every tree that produces it and manually mark "harvest grass produced by this tree". There is no way to set any limits or conditions, if you have enough grass, you have to un-mark auto-harvest. If grass is spawned on the other side of a wall, the harvester will walk around the wall and possibly get killed when you aren't watching. The game is filled with little UI flaws like this: you can't set "autoequip item when available" (you have to assign each item manually), you can't limit auto-harvest on regenerating rocks, you can't auto-cut-trees-when-needed, you can't demolish trees in one go (you have to cut them twice quickly, which requires babysitting the tree cutter) and many, many others. As it stands, the game requires the player to do too many chores. Most of the difficulty comes from the chaos of having to manually manage 9001 things at once - once you do manage the chaos, there's no challenge left.

The setting and the whole concept is amazing in my opinion. The biggest problem this game has is that for some reason even after assigning specific jobs for people, they still manage to stay idle. I know that it’s probably my fault but I don’t think that a person that only has an ecologist job while having tree seeds in the global inventory should stand idle when I set trees to be planted. Again it’s probably me not seeing something because a lot of the times they actually do their job but I still think that you should be able to directly order them to do a specific job that is not hunting. Other then that, amazing game

Great game and great successor to Green Project! It just needs more early, mid and endgame content. Hopefully devs will continue adding more stuff. Also would be great to have some custom scenarios with procedurally generated terrain.

pretty fun, nice type of building game with a really fun aspect of regrowing the world! would recommend playing once to figure things out and then do a game you will care about but that may just be my style of playing these types of games.
