Very polished Exploration game, i have enjoyed my time with this game a lot. Talking to the npc's and unraveling the short but fun world was perfect. It also offers a good amount of looting and a small economy in buying/selling items. The in-world card game is also very fun! I can tell there was a lot of love and care put into it. Can fully recommend and im excited to see what they develop next.2 found this helpful

It's basically a walking simulator but you also get to experience this cool card pvp that I really enjoyed it's quite unique. That is to say the walking is really fun and I love the graphics feeling very dark fantasy. If you get lost or end up looping the same area it get's a little tedious but there's even an item to help you run more. I find it soothing playing through this game and getting to experience the world.
Good game
Beautiful environments and interesting level design that rewards exploring everything you see. Items feel rewarding to find though they only change how you play the game in small ways. The areas are made well in ways that lead you towards points of interest and I can't stress enough how amazing each environment looks. My only criticism is that the dialogue, both by characters and in the journals, is a bit inconsistent in the way that it is written. Some characters speak semi-formally in a kind of classic fantasy way, while others speak like someone outside of the game world explaining the dialogue in modern terms. This could be a design choice of course, though I find it a little strange
I'm really enjoying Ember Seeker so far. Loading in for the first time reminded me of the feeling I got as a kid, seeing Cyrodiil in TES Oblivion for the first time. I feel like I can notice a lot of the creator's inspirations in this game, obviously especially Dark Souls, but despite hitting all the "typical" dark fantasy notes it still feels like a fresh take on the genre. The game is very low stimulation, encouraging you to scour each corner and explore. Dialogue is minimal, just you and the world completing your objectives. I love it.
