The game's balance is terrible, with certain kits being superior to others, along with some levels being terrible to play solo. However, the first two acts are well done and worth around $5 or less. I enjoy the visual appeal of the game, though PC performance was spotty, forcing me to play at the Low preset. Very playable with 2-4 players. Overall: 6/10 (you're unlikely to play through the game)
Do I like Embr? Yes. Is it worth the 20$? no. Although my friend gifted it to me and it was on sale, I wouldnt buy this game if it wasn't lower than 10 dollars. This game has been super fun so far, havent played nearly even 10% of it, but as of right now, this is like a 8.5/10 game.
Relatively simple little game and plenty of fun. I played entirely solo until I completed everything then looked into multiplayer but there are never any lobbies (despite constant notifications saying there are new lobbies). [SteamDB says up to ~30 people play in a given day, but they could all be playing privately] {Update: I did manage to find a couple open lobbies around peak times} It's definitely more geared toward co-op play but solo is very doable. There are 3 main districts with 6+ maps each and all except the story maps have 6 total modes, although 4 of the modes are very slight variations of each other. It looks like there's some kind of "Among Us" mode in multiplayer, if you and your friends are into that. It does have its quirks and issues, and the issues can be extremely frustrating, but only a few levels seem to have persistent problems. There are also some upgrades (usually expensive) that can help with some of the issues, but sometimes those break too and cause the entire tool to stop functioning. Overall, still an enjoyable time.
