Embark on a journey of mastery in Enso, a captivating precision platformer that will require a perfect balance of skill and serenity in order to overcome the parkour challenges that await you.Slingshot Enso up the terrain, and discover new movement techniques as you progress. (Mouse and Keyboard is recommended, but if you want an extra little challenge, gamepad is also supported!)Falling is an essential part of this game, however, so is picking yourself back up and trying again. I believe in you!

I've been enjoying watching the Foddian and rage type games grow in popularity, and wished to contribute to that game genre.Even though Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy was a direct inspiration for Enso, and I have much respect and admiration for that game, I on the other hand do not wish to hurt you... too much ;)A little word on "Ensō":
It is the Japanese creative practice of using ink to paint a circle in one fluid stroke, and is part of Zen Buddhism. Just like the challenge in my game, the ensō is its own merit and its own reward.What Steam players say

Enso is a foddian game where you launch your ball with the mouse and can relaunch it as soon as you touch a surface.This make the game a really good fit for speedrunning compared to other golf foddian game since in this one, you can just keep shooting but not only that, you gain more power since the momentum cumulate. The map is mostly fine, but there is one punishing fall in what i would call the third section of the game. However, due to the movement, it is fairly fast to get back up once you start mastering it. The art is also really well done and is really well mixed with the level itself.5 found this helpful

Watching the early development of Enso has been a joy, and it's clear from the demo and released version that a lot of thought and passion went into make a carefully crafted and challenging game. The controls are easy but using them effectively can be hard to master, and there are additional elements which will make this appealing to speed runners. I've been playing this on and off while waiting for things at work, and I find it's very easy to pick up and put down. Yes, it can be frustrating when you fall, but that's the nature of these games, and I enjoy Eddy's and Enso's take on it, paired with the gorgeous visuals and soundtrack. Kudos!1 found this helpful
