Enjoyed it at first and happy this version works compared to the original, but the further I went on the further rage the levels just felt unfair rather than challenging. Not being able to see where you're going and how sensitive the spike hitboxes reach are what got to me the most. It is a free game, but feels like something I'd play on Scratch or Newgrounds for a few minutes before moving on rather than something worth finishing.

Атмосфера игры, несмотря на минималистичный стиль, достаточно интригующая, и хочется узнать, что же будет дальше. Отдельно стоит отметить удобный интерфейс и отсутствие навязчивой музыки, позволяющее сосредоточиться на решении задач. Игра не перегружена сложными механиками, но требует внимательности и логического мышления. Загадки хорошо сбалансированы: они не кажутся слишком простыми, но и не вызывают чувства безысходности. "Escape Rebooted" идеально подходит для тех, кто ценит классические эскейп-румы и не гонится за графическими изысками. Игра увлекает своим геймплеем и заставляет поломать голову над каждой новой комнатой. Единственное, чего немного не хватает, - это более развернутой концовки, дающей больше понимания о происходящем. В целом, это отличный выбор для любителей жанра и достойная игра для короткой, но увлекательной сессии. Рекомендую!

What an utter sin of game design. Escape Rebooted is an uninspired 2D platformer with a poorly executed art-style and stages that seem like they were made by someone outside the dev environment who got their hands on the level editor. I mean, a few of the levels literally require you abuse the game mechanics to win. One has you intentionally dying to carry momentum into the next life so you can make an otherwise impossible jump, and another makes use of the restart button's poor implementation to create a win condition for the level. And I want to stress none of these make you feel like you solved an actual puzzle, it just comes off as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the developer probably thought was clever. Most of the level gimmicks are also just plain unfun or make no sense to even be in the game (I'm looking at you red levels). Being clear, I did play the game to completion, so there is no salt here, but I urge everyone except the very most curious to stay away. 2/10.
