UE4 has the most advanced character bone animation system and physical collision engine, which bring the much more real RPG experience. A Chinese Drama RPG, that delivers gorgeous visuals, romantic moments and some fun battles, but also a lot of jank and bad pacing. The game's biggest flaw is its extremely slow start. It is a bore to play the first 2-3 hours, when you only play as the extremely naive/dumb kid. Things greatly improve once you recruit Wangshu. From there, you the plot, romance and combat mechanics shift into gear, and you'll have a fun time until the last few hours, when it starts to rush things out and gets a bit overly dramatic. Still, it was worth the playthrough. Definetly not for everyone, but will be a blast for anyone into RPGs and C-Dramas. My playtrough lasted 32 hours, I used the "Small font" version of the English Translation mod on the Steam forums.10 found this helpful
I really wish I could recommend this, but I simply can't. I've enjoyed many of the Chinese games that have been coming to Steam in recent years, and I was excited to try this thanks to the English fan translation... but it's just not a good game. It's got a lot of potentially good elements, but none of them really come together. Worse, it feels janky and borderline broken throughout. The combat system, in particular, seems downright unfinished. Nothing about it feels like it works quite like it should, with an infuriating level of randomness and massive difficulty spikes. It is very unpolished and unbalanced. And the story has major issues, with poor pacing and big plot holes, along with characters who generally fail to develop much. (With a couple exceptions.) Compounding these issues, the translation is frankly dreadful. I hate dunking on fan projects, but it was clearly machine-translated with major issues in practically every line. Zero effort at editing was made. In fact, whoever put it together didn't even bother making sure the text fits the boxes! Run into a game-breaking bug in the first village,that paused the game.Also run into other bugs.HAvent played it enought but i dont think its worth the trouble.Also not an official translation is out.I think this game has a very spesific audiance,Chinese people who like turn based RPGs.Im from EU so i couldnt ''connect''with anything.Save yourself some money and buy something else

Enjoyed the game so far and i know its gonna be good
The idea of the game is really good. Sadly the developers are completely incompetent. There are stealth levels with not working stealth mechanics. Many boss mechanics are straight up broken. Sometimes bosses just skip phases or are stuck in the first phase. Later in the game you are forced to use a character, you had no reason to upgrade or use for more than 10hours, and you if you did not upgrade the character you are simply stuck in an unwinnable fight. I highly suggest to stay away from this game
