Another below average game that should be avoided by everyone. Devs should focus less on blowing smoke up themselves and have some gamers play these things to see more than anything else "is my game fun or just irritating to play?" and maybe a lot of these subpar games would be turned into something worth your money and, more importantly, your TIME.

this game is very charming and melancholy its very easy to cheese the enemies as they dont have many movesets, however its also easy to get stuck on nothing or get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by the controls being a lil clunky - if u took the basic fighting style of the dark souls series but made it top down while having ur bright child follow u everywhere the games story feels lackluster and while i would like it, the execution on it couldve been better overall im very mixed on this game and cant give a full you should or shouldnt play it

Unplayable on current macOS. Runs at less than 1FPS on a top-of-the-line mac. Still labeled as 32-bit even though that's not true.

II have, as of the time of this writing, tried my best (for 5.8 hours) to like this game. But there's so much that just drives me insane about it. For instance, the entirety of it is an escort quest for a character that is necessary to be able to use save points, and can get kidnapped, including when the game forces you to split up. Disabling your ability to save and level. (I should note, for fans of customizing your character, leveling is strictly for gaining health- though that is, in fact, helpful). Also, for fans of tweaking your character, while different weapons exist- you can't actually carry weapons you aren't using in one of your two loadouts, so I hope you like leaving items behind in miscellaneous areas if you want to try out something different - especially since the game doesn't tell you any details about their damage, how much of an upgrade something is versus their predecessor- or anything useful about them, other than, what their (very infrequent) status effects are, and if they are a basic variant or +, ++, etc. Oh, and while this says its a soulslike- you can't retrieve all the experience you lose when you die. And the game will get you with cheap gotcha death…
