"Fandominion" is a mediocre failed Super Smash Bros type "party brawler" game where you fight with zero other players (because it's dead) in simple low poly arenas. There's a "joke" theme about each of the fighters representing a generic "fandom" like comic books or whatever, but you know, all the good fandoms are licensed properties so that theme falls as flat as the rest of the game did. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly "cel shaded" type 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. An outstanding achievement in gameplay, with an amazing soundtrack and incredibly cool moves. The characters are unique, vibrant, and each comes with an intriguing side story. It’s truly impressive what this small team has accomplished. Highly recommended for fighting game enthusiasts, and an extra recommendation if you’re a fan of Smash Bros.
