To prevent such destruction from ever happening again, the Immortals banded together to form a Council that would enforce order and stability on a global scale, stepping in at any hint of war or chaos.
The Immortals might be vastly powerful, but they are few. Even they can't oversee all of the lands. This is why they rely upon their mortal agents, the Arbiters, to guard the land's people from the more day-to-day dangers they face. Arbiters range over the land, rooting out bandits, unruly monsters, and crooked officials; their word is law.
But one Arbiter uncovers the deepening corruption pervading her own order, and it falls to her to halt the spread of a threat as dire as the brutal beast of yore.
Strongly influenced by games such as Final Fantasy Tactics (original and Advance versions) and Tactics Ogre, this tactical RPG stands on its own as a worthy successor of those classics, bringing a slew of improvements and additions to the tactics genre.

Since I played a lot of strategic RPGs in the past and I was actually looking forward to play Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark, I have to say. This Game feels like a single guy and chatGPT designed it. there is pretty much no strategic depth in this game. You get swarmed with enemies who are immune to a lot of status effects and all outpace the damage you can do to them. At some point you really feel forced to buy a bunch of resistance gear and save scum your way through the maps to adapt the gear to the enemy types you are facing. Is it challenging: yes is it fun: not so much The injury system is also just annoying. Getting funneled through chokepoints while getting blasted with tons of area spells on almost every single step is also a game design choice.... yeah, this is what you can expect from that game.1 found this helpful
I feel this is a well balanced tactical rpg that is easy to get lost in. I played through with the Missions and Monster DLC, so the experience might be different for those playing the base game. But it didn't feel grindy, had lots of jobs to choose from. I would recommend.1 found this helpful
Solid turn-based game with plot and plenty of room for builds and strategies. Highly recommended for turn-based fans. Some minor gameplay issues: 1) The game encourages you to master classes with a permanent stat buff for doing so, this results in the sub-class effectively becoming the main class and the main class just rotating to collect the stat buff. 2) There are (too?) many classes that I just didn't get the chance to use. Some classes are for monsters only, but none of the plot characters are monsters and usually you only have enough slots to deploy the plot characters. I could deply non-plot characters but I was afraid the plot characters would fall behind and then some mission with their mandatory participation will come by and force me to use an underleveled character. 3) Most of my characters were only used in those afk timer missions. Towards the end I had dozens of characters, but outside the plot characters only 2 at most saw any combat and even those were rare occasions.
The Pros There are a lot of classes. Lots of customization. Plenty to collect and do. The story has its own little charm and wit. The game mechanics are comparable to, and I would say on par with, Final Fantasy Tactics. There are some absolute banger songs. ---- The Cons Some of the dialogue is a little cringey—just a tiny bit. I can vouch that it's not a "woke" script. Some of the character creation options are a little iffy, but you can easily ignore them. Parts of the story are somewhat predictable. The sprite art could be better. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but some parts of the game can feel a little vague. The larger your party gets, the harder it is to keep things balanced. ---- The Mid Sidemissions could have been changed to take less minutes, or like on tactics, take patrol missions to finish them instead of timing them for 30-40 minutes / This is part is kind of helpful if you wish to farm stuff while not playing The variety of missions is enough / Maybe more mini boss or boss encounters (like those stationary ones) AP is a little cumbersome to handle / Its better than having to equip weapons to learn specific skills (999 for…
This game is amazing. I bought it and put it aside. Finally got around to it and it reminds me of FF tactics. Great story so far, battles are very similar.
I would rate this neutral if I could, but is closer to thumbs down than thumbs up.
