The translation really is subpar. While you can maybe figure out what is meant by things, it is entirely impossible for a primarily English speaker to experience any form of depth or character connection given the frequently nonsensical word choice and grammar.

A tactical JRPG about a French chick and all the characters shout Japanese stuff when they attack. For some reason I find it hilarious in it's immersion breaking.

I really wish I could give it a positive rating, because this game really does some things well. The art style is nice, the soundtrack is ok, the tactics gameplay is competent, the story is fine, but it stumbles along the way. First, the game doesn't really have voice acting. The character have barks, they'll say one or two words when you go into a shop, at the start of their lines in story dialog and when making an attack, but most of the the is dead silent. Not a deal breaker, but when everything else in the game has a certain quality production to it, this really stands out. Second, there's no mode for you to go into battles to train your troops and farm credits. I like the gameplay, let me have more of it. If the devs think leveling would break the balance then level scale the enemies in story missions. Instead, all the game has to offer in this aspect are "side missions", which consist of playing very short 1 and done battles, and those come at a very limited number. Third, the DLC character feels like pay2win at the start of the game. She's clearly better than your troops and it takes a little while until they catch up to her, and she feels completely disconnected from the…

Had a good time with this one and really enjoyed the setting

I’ve finally finished this game. It turns out there are quite a few chapters. And there are lots of characters whose levels and skills you can upgrade. It takes patience to level up each character one by one. The story is quite good. Finished on 10 July 2026 Rating: 69 out of 100

At first glance it seems pretty charming. But then you realise that this game is definitely not for everyone
