Film Studio Manager

In theory, I love this sort of game. In practice, this is terrible. The UI, while aesthetically pleasing, varies between 'functional' to 'incomprehensible'. And the gameplay consists of picking actors/directors/writers from a single list, with nonsensical meaningless info (this director is 3 years old! this one's ethnicity is "people of colour"), setting numbers with almost[1] no impact, and then staring at the slowest calendar progression known to man until the game breaks. And it will break. I have tried multiple times and have not ONCE been able to see a movie all the way to release. Watch the "trailer" video. See how even the person making the video keeps trying to click on shapes that aren't actually buttons? That really sums it all up. The opening text suggests this was a student project. If so, I hope these students got a bad grade. [1] I say almost no impact because once my game broke because, while passing time, the director demanded a higher budget. And then there was no way I could find to raise the budget.

Such a good concept, while its not perfect, its not bad tho i would say that this shouldn't have been a "free" game and the devs should have had a away for some of us to buy the game and support their work as I believe this project is pretty fun. This should have been atleast £6 to increase quality in my opinion but the fact of what was already done is fantastic. I would point out i wish there was more of a rivalry between Studious where your studio can be at risk of a take over or smth. It would be great if we can see under a movie release who the production company was unless there's a way to view that already. A way to possible go back when making a screen play or anything of the likes. In certain cases when i clicked to make a screen play i wish i could go back and adjust something in the past than move forward so a back button addition would be great to those areas. A way to skip thru absolutely useless days instead of going to continue and waiting for each one to pass by until the next event. Something in the calendar view where you can select to what day to automatically skip to. Highly recommend it but with the devs back on the project i hope they can turn this one out…
