Find Love or Die Trying: Til Death Do Us Part

Should of been a DLC. Very bland compared to the first one. story was rushed and forced choices was lame. really wanted to like this but i cant bring myself to. only 5 bucks so i cant be mad but its very upsetting after playing the first one. After reading the behind the scenes i understand now why this game was so rushed. To Auden Cho-Wong i hope you the best in your future games and i will support!

I've never played with virtual novels, this was my first experience. I accidentally found the previous part which stole my heart – at least for me. Loveable, funny characters (my favourite is [b]Kat <3[/b] and [b]Violet <3[/b]) with a beautiful story about true(!) love. What I also really liked it was the detailed explanation of the story. I didn't feel any shortcomings or missing details, quick jumps etc. The only negative thing I can point out is the lack of relevance of the answers [spoiler](except the last one)[/spoiler] but despite this, a solid +++ from me. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the sequel. The story is just as creative and interesting, the new characters are also good but the conclusion sometimes seems rushed. It lacks more detailed explanation even though the concept speaks for itself and I'm sure it would be more enjoyable with this addition [spoiler](for example, at least as much detail about the background of the last action as about the romance with Nera)[/spoiler]. Finally found time to play the second one! It felt much shorter than the last game but it was very nice to see how things worked out after the cancellation of the dating show. It gave opportunity for drama with a bit of cheesy parts which I found funny. In all honest opinion, the first game had more depth to it but I also understand that this game was only to show the aftermath. It felt like playing Episode with no diamonds with large jumps in various decisions like the chance to fall for Nera (was that her name?) I felt that the story was a bit forced and some decisions or opportunities were drastic like cheating on your lover with Nera and being forced into a decision to marry her or not. I feel that the game could've have had more dialogue and scenes to find ways around that before coming to the decision, making the game longer with more substance and making it more interesting. Nera felt like a character only added to give the opportunity to cheat with instead of an actual important character in the story given that she was the princess, that could've have been a good focus. That was waaaaay shorter than I expected (around 1 hour for one route), and the story felt super rushed because of that, like, what do you mean [spoiler] I met this Nera girl and about an hour later she and my character are basically flirting with no way for me to say no? And what do you mean after watching a TV show and two whole days she's all "okay, let's marry, I love you from the bottom of my heart"? Talk about parasocial, geez. I hate how this is just basically NTR even after choosing one of the girls at the end of the previous game and the start of this one, but at least it had a happy ending[/spoiler] Despite the things I disliked and described above, I DID love every aspect of the extra Violet content, pure dopamine and serotonin injections; if the rest of the game wasn't like that, I would recommend this game solely for the additional Violet content. It was also nice to see the brothers 5 being happy as well, those damn goobers. In the end, if I think of the price of this game as the combined price for the first game (since it was free when I got it) and this one, it feels like a good deal overall, but I still can't bring myself to wholeheartedly recommend this one.

This picks up right where the first one ended. However it doesn't replace the wacky circumstances from the original with anything interesting. This would have been a great time to really delve into each of the ladies' backstories while trying to balance their eccentricities, but they seem to have muted personalities. Everything seems to take a backseat to far less developed new characters and plot line.

So first game was funny and just outright goofy. This one... eh is just way to serious man. Im not looking to play a dating sim. I dont care if people think my review is goofy. I am judging this based on how the first game was.
