fitriz is essentially food-based tetris. enter your name, choose a favorite sport for no reason, one of 3 difficulty levels, acknowledge the 5 random pieces of starting food items (or randomize them until something better comes along), then proceed through 30 levels, unlocked one by one. there's an inventory of unlocked food items and you can decide what each tetris shape should consist of, or let the game pick the best ones to reach the goals on each level. there's even a day/night cycle, so you'll be playing each stage 'for days', ideally ending them all with enough nutrients to make them sunny, not rainy. cutlery and other special blocks help deal with line-clearing and you can collect more sports randomly, they affect calorie goals and can help with clearing lines as well. difficulty determines the number of sunny days necessary for completion and the amount of starting lines on the board. on easy one sunny day means a 1-star rating, 3 sunny days nets 3 stars, anything else is just a bonus. on medium these values are doubled and on hard tripled, so you'll need 9 sunny days per level to get 3 stars if you're playing on hard. matching foodstuff is one thin…

Fitriz is an attempt to combine Fitness information with Tetris. I'm not sure the fitness/nutrition info provided is much more than a theme so I'll just gloss over that. But if you want to be reminded that vitamin C is healthy for you, don't worry the game will tell you a few times. The actual gameplay is essentially a Tetris clone with just a couple of tweaks. Spin the pieces to make lines and clear the board, etc. You get some random "bombs" in the form of utensils and racoons, where as your normal pieces have food pictures. There's also some attempt at letting you tweak what pieces you'll get during a level, picking sports themes (which you unlock) changes things like the % of long pieces you'll get. I'm not sure I fully understood this part so maybe there's more depth there that I didn't explore, I mainly just jumped into the Tetris itself. I can't say this breaks any new ground, there's a lot of Tetris clones out there, but if the novelty factor of vegan-Tetris is something you think is missing from your life, don't let me hold you back. EDIT: I originally had a couple of minor issues that have been fixed by recent updates so those complaints have been removed. --- Bottom…

"FITRIZ" is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam, a fruit obsessed ripoff of Tetris that nobody asked for or wanted. By vegans, for vegans. How do you know someone is a vegan? Don't worry, they'll tell you. What do you do in the game? It's Tetris, match the blocks. The only difference is there's a whole bunch of fruit related reskinning/window dressing. Pointless. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $4 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent p…

Though the Graphics really sucks. Having these kind of nutritional value integrating with a simple tetris game might be good. if the developers update the User Interface much more friendly and associate it with Co-Op. the kids might as well really play this kind of game. but for now i don't recommend this game for parents and kids.
