Is this game worth $17? Hell nah. But if you get it for, say, $3, it can be worth it, and you can have a good time if you can learn to deal with its various annoyances. Chief annoyance is the controls, which you cannot remap. Who thought it was a good idea to place them all over the keyboard is beyond me - there's the usual WASD for movement, E for interaction, C for crouch, ALT to roll-dodge, space/shift/1-4 for powers stuffs, and the mouse to aim and fire. So far so decent. But then there's the arrow keys for hacking, and backspace for "back/cancel", and the mouse doesn't work in the menus... No one playtested this and said "hey, maybe this doesn't make sense?" Then there's the powers you can purchase with skill points, of which probably half are completely useless. Especially the passive gun powers where the ONLY useful one is armor piercing (which does a crap job, still requiring 3+ headshots against a helmet but better than nothing), and a merely useless one for energy barrier piercing which still requires you to dump like a dozen or more shots to shatter a barrier but at least it doesn't make things WORSE for you like the other 4 gun powers. Telekinetic bullets me…2 found this helpful
Jogo simles mas muito divertido, adoro uma vibe cyberpunk. platinei e eh bem tranquilo de se fazer
FORECLOSED is a narrative-driven action adventure developed by Antab Studio and published by Silver Lining Interactive that sets out to merge cyberpunk storytelling with the visual language of a living comic book. From its opening moments, the game establishes a striking identity, dropping players into a dystopian future where corporations wield total control over personal data, augmentations, and even individual identity itself. You step into the role of Evan Kapnos, a man abruptly stripped of his digital existence, implants, and legal status, leaving him hunted, powerless, and desperate in a city that no longer recognizes him. This premise immediately frames the experience around themes of dehumanization, corporate tyranny, and personal autonomy, grounding its flashy presentation in a bleak and unsettling narrative core. The game’s most defining feature is its visual presentation, which consistently commits to the idea of an interactive graphic novel. Rather than relying on traditional cutscenes, FORECLOSED delivers much of its story through stylized comic panels, bold outlines, onomatopoeia splashed across the screen, and dynamic framing that mimics the pacing of printed pages.…
Very short but very good. Its got a unique style that you dont see too often.
This is what i call a hidden gem! The story is very gripping and held my attention the entire time. It's scary how much of this game is a real possibility in the not so distance future. The game play felt under cooked but the story is clearly the main point here. It's short and well worth it on a sale.
I really want to like it. the story is interesting. but the voice acting is bad. the setting is interesting but the gunplay is so bad. there is no setting to adjust it at all too. the ai is almost braindead. the control is mid at best. there is no setting to adjust anything graphical or anything. 5/10
