Unfortunately, this game has a lot of potential but falls short in many ways, below I will list some issues I've found and hope that the developer takes note and fixes some of them. - !!VERY IMPORTANT!! Some races are broken. The track that's used in the Leon Cup's 5th race always spawns you in the wrong place, meaning you have to do an extra lap. It's possible, just annoying. A much, much worse one is in the Pejo Cup's 4th race. There seems to be no trigger for the lap, so when you pass the finish line the lap count doesn't increase, making you and the racers drive around infinitely. This literally makes the achievements impossible and I hope it's fixed as soon as possible. EDIT: Just discovered that Diablo Cup race 2 also starts you outside of the map, and it's impossible. Please take a look at all the tracks. EDIT 2: Woody Cup race 3 shows me in 6th place even though i'm 1st and i can't win. - The menus are pretty weird to understand, the buttons are weird and sometimes you select non-existent options and lose your cursor. - After a few races the text during a race disappears (the race time, lap, "Perfect" text etc.) and the game breaks at the end of the race, needing a rest…

Top-down arcade racing game that is easy to play and will keep you occupied for some time. Sadly, some design decisions really hurt the experience. The game gets off to a good start thanks to the abundance of manufacturers disguised behind fake brands like Cubaru and Porse. Even though there are many different cars available, a closer look reveals that the number of unique cars is actually quite small because a lot of it is just the same car in a different style. For instance, there are four different models of the Mind Kooper. There are basically three classes. The first is a typical road vehicle, followed by a race car and lastly a Formula 1 car. Each manufacturer usually has one car for each class, but there are exceptions. Although cars have statistics, the price is still the primary indicator that you're looking at an excellent car. You hit a small hindrance in the beginning because you can only afford to buy one car with your available funds. However, the game doesn't specify which car it is, so you must go through every brand to find it. You discover that you require a license once you have the car and are on your way to the races. Decent top-down racing game once you figure out how to turn off the godawful music. Check Discussions for the location of the Save files, since there is zero documentation. Important info for getting started: if you want to select something, the Spacebar is your friend. ADDENDUM: This game gets old VERY quickly. I spent more time searching for the save game files than I did playing. The game is based on having the proper "license" to participate in races, and one of the early licenses is, for all intents and purposes, unattainable (there's a YouTube video of it, where the player tries again and again and again before finally ragequitting, and I had much the same experience). So, yes, the game has a buttload of different tracks -- and you'll likely never be able to race on most of them). Changed my review to a thumbs-down. There's just too much damned grief for this game being no better than it is. Check my reviews -- there are *free* games that are better than FRGT2D. (FRGT is an abbreviation for FORGET.)

I love top down racers. I have most of all of them you could buy over all the years. This top down racer is excellent and has a a lot of content. Its sad that i feel this title has been overlooked it stands with the very best in the genre
