FP Racer

FP Racer is a very focused racing game, and I actually liked how little it tries to distract me from the driving. The whole experience is about handling a car through a collection of short courses, with the main challenge coming from taking corners as smoothly and quickly as possible. I enjoyed the feeling of trying to improve my own runs rather than worrying about opponents. The driving is intentionally simple but surprisingly precise. I spend most of my time thinking about steering, braking and getting through each turn without losing too much speed. I liked that the game rewards smooth control because a tiny mistake can ruin an otherwise strong run. It has more in common with a time trial challenge than a traditional racing campaign. The lack of AI opponents is actually a deliberate part of the design. There is nobody trying to bump me off the track or block my racing line, so the focus stays entirely on my performance. I enjoyed this because every mistake feels like something I need to improve myself, rather than something I can blame on another car. The minimalist presentation works well with the concept. The game does not overwhelm me with menus, upgrades or visual clutter…

Relaxing with good music and enjoy.

This game is really relaxing, you barely need to use your brakes if you have good throttle control, it's responsive and the light and shadow tricks it plays are novel fun to figure out...Good replay value as FP Racer loads quickly, and runs extremely well even on modest hardware.

This game is pretty good and really quick to finish. I really liked the way the game looks—the levels all look different, and there is a lot of great level design, even though the art style could have seemed really limiting. It's also very easy to understand the game, even without a tutorial. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of interesting mechanics—you can only turn, move forward, and move backward. There isn’t even a speed penalty if you hit a wall. But overall, it was pretty fun and relaxing to play. It kind of feels like a liminal space, and I really liked that.
