Controls sluggish. No gamepad. Upgrades too rare to be helpful. Combat unsatisfying. Enemies too visually similar. The interface to select an upgrade is so simple and yet so unnecessarily confusing. You get four options. Though you have a mouse cursor, you can't actually click on them. Not that this is apparent; when you click something does happen, and eventually one does get selected, but only the one that says "LEFT CLICK". The one that says "HOLD A KEY" doesn't get selected when you hold a key, only when you hold the "A" key. Even after you figure this out, it's not clear why we don't just click on the option we want.3 found this helpful
Finally hit 1M points but could spend more time crushing what might be the WR. My bottom left corner was filled by augments. Would definitely recommend this game but be aware that it might actually become kinda addictive. Getting a good run in is fairly easy on default game difficulty which makes it less frustrating than the famous Bonking game for instance. On the other hand, I had to get a few runs in to understand the energy concept properly even though I read the tutorial. Some augments tend to be vague and some would need more detail to differentiate one from another. The boss fight is kinda cool unless you're already invincible but I think the game could beneficiate from having new types of bosses or at least new challenges after defeating it. For the gamers : went for a ramming ship with the augment which allows to hold right click to extend the dash. Mix it with good energy augments and you get an invincible dashing ship. Peace out.
"Its free" I want my time back.
△ I love the sounds and music in this game, but the enemy's are really tough. I will try again later.
Great little arcade free to play and without any ads. Brings me back to old times but with much better graaphics and sound. Well done
Good, skill based, challenging, I like it. Video of me testing the game up on my youtube channel soon. https://www.youtube.com/@FREESTEAMGAMEZ
