Speak for the fandom, and your time at Woke Gamer will be cut short. Do your job as an editorAn editor is defined by the quality of articles he/she writes. Mark is no different. Or, side with them and call out the forced DEI initiatives in the industry. Your choices matter: Every choice you are going to make in the game will be remembered by other characters. Choose your options carefully. Replayability: If you are not happy with your first run, try playing it again and make different decisions. Amazing take on the toxic nature of the woke gaming journo industry as a whole with the rest of what pop culture is being plagued with. I feel it give in depth scope on how DEI is a phony ideology bent on ruining the fun for everyone to make themselves morally superior, imo. Fanbases aren't perfect but the majority support what they love with time and money they invest to see their favorite things grow begins to become overlooked in some area where commerce is more important to the bottom line than keeping the fans happy. This is how a franchise dies. I have to give it to the game dev for the very creative referencing, impactful dialogue, and moments that took me by surprise and made think about how deep the psychosis of wokeism has it's hooks embedded into every facet of games, shows, and even literature that we came to love as kids to adults. Recap, respect the fans and the fans will respect you. Stay true to the story and the fans will love it more or less. Don't monkey wrench nonsense that doesn't belong and the fans that matter won't turn on you. I love this game and it was honor to play it. Thank you, sincerely Pixel Plus VT8 found this helpful
I just finished streaming this and had a ton of fun. It's quite a bit of reading but the dialogue and references to other games/streamers was really funny. It was a fun ride trying to figure out what the references were. The game was a little short but it has replayability for other outcomes. I'd love to see more from this developer.6 found this helpful
As someone who went through and was fully involved in Gamergate, I find this game really fun. It captures the issues going on inside gaming journalism really well, and is a fun storytelling game! I like the nods and hints if you're in the know, too. Absolutely recommend, as long as you're not the kind to get your panties in a bunch. May need to turn your graphical settings down though! Mine chugged a little at first until I pulled things down to medium.3 found this helpful
