About Geadows
Geadows is a frenetic action game in third person that mixes the shooter and roguelike genres. Beat waves of fearsome enemies, face powerful bosses and defeat the artificial intelligence that sank you in the nightmare you relive every day.
- Choose your weapons and fight against GEA, the artificial intelligence that stole your friends, your memories and your past from you and take your revenge. Defeat the minons she sends to stop you. Find accessories that will modify your weapons or your own body to power you up in combat.
- Every weapon has its own characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. They have two attack modes and an active ability to define your play style.
- The accessories alter the weapons or character, giving them new and powerful effects. Decisions matter, and numerous accessories can be combined between them.

"Geadows" is a poorly made Unity third person shooter/brawler with no content, no textures, and no point at all. What do you do in the game? It's a wave survival shooter with procgen instead of content... it's just tedious repetition as you fight waves of the same enemy over and over again. I'd rather watch Groundhog Day for three days straight. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. Dear god the small drones that can 1-burst your shields down with no tracers, warnings, or anything are annoying, especially when your screen is covered in vfx and your trying to not take damage to unlock weapons.
Fun hack and slash roguelike
The gameplay is bit basic, has lots of broken English, and chews up my GPU. The game froze and started buzzing loudly when I died.
