Glitch of the Game is a unique indie title that leans heavily into its self-aware, glitch-centric premise. As the name suggests, the game is filled with intentional glitches, as well as unintentional glitches like being able to open the in-game menu in the main menu or having your weapons unequip when you walk through a door. One of the game's key appeals is its reliance on gaming lore and references, and if you’re not familiar with them, many of the puzzles and jokes might fly over your head. For example, without knowing a certain classic cheat code, you’ll be locked out of one of the glitches. I definitely haven't played a game before where the main purpose was to break it in different ways, turns out it can be a hell of a lot of fun. The controls are smooth and responsive, and there's a healthy dose of humour that makes finding exploits extra rewarding. Doggo is also 12/10, would recommend.

Does what it says on the tin. Fun pixel art and meta concept. Great little puzzle game!
