About Gnomes & Co: The Art of the Build
Gnomes & Co is an optimization-based puzzle game from Cheers Games.
Somewhere out in the forest live the gnomes - tiny people who make their living building products for the big folk. As their new director, your job is to figure out the most efficient way for them to build each product.
This includes using multiple gnomes, designing your own scaffolding, making multiple products in a batch... the only limit is your cunning.
Although each gnome's move set is simple, every puzzle has a vast array of possible solutions. Compete with other players online to come up with the best designs.

In this game you "program" gnomes to slice make products in the given form. You'll have different chapters with a handful of levels with an increasing difficulty. I have mixed feeling about this game. Zachlike puzzle is a bit irritating, because the star rating shows you that there is one optimal solution. Solve it under par and you'll get a checkmark. The devs must be genius or they just know their game, because I seldom know what the trick is to get this low move count. To the programming part: You control the gnomes to do their work and each step is recorded, so that they can do it in a loop at the end. You can be very smart and let your gnomes end at the same point where they're starting, so you don't have to "reset" the level which gives you a penalty in your scoring. The controls are a little bit annoying for me, because you control them with your mouse, but it's not unfair, because you can rewind a step. If you have a quiet promising solution you don't have the opportunity to "debug" the steps. Worst case scenario: in the beginning you misstep twice but the rest works just fine, you have to do every step again. So there is nothing like a program you can interact with, it's j…6 found this helpful
Abandoned game, broken puzzles, broken achievements and that is really all you want to know about this game. If developer comes back and fixes this game I would be more than happy to change my review.1 found this helpful
