Great game with ultra buttery smooth gameplay! Super challenging beat em up...buy on sale HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! More people should know about indie modern releases that are very high quality like this!

Got this in a bundle since it looked interesting. Unfortunately it's fairly dull and everything feels very janky. The "music" is just one track on a loop, and half the time you don't even know if your hits will connect or not since the hitboxes don't seem to align with the models.

The idea of a first person fighting game that uses super smash bros mechanics is brilliant. The execution is...sufficient. It's fun, but more than half of the weapons suck, and all of the upgrades suck (there's only % dmg upgrades, nothing interesting). That said, for how long it lasts, its okay, the game is not stretched out, you can beat it in an hour or two, more if you have skill issues. the last parts felt like i was just using all my braincells dodging, using attacks randomly, occasionally hitting through sheer chance, but the game was close to finished by that point. I would love to see this expanded, with more items, upgrades, levels, stuff like that. after getting 100% of the achievements, i still don't get why this game calls itself a roguelike deck builder, though. It not a rougelike, just an arcade game, there is barely a deck (its just a list of all the weapons you picked up) and you sure aren't doing any building with it.

Boring game with bare bones gameplay. Terrible for controllers and the ai for enemies stops working after floor 1.

Godfist is a roguelike in which you must climb a tower to get revenge upon the Gods for killing your family. Entities in this tower are in the Gods' Domain, so they are immortal (including you), so the only real way to defeat enemies (and to lose) is to get knocked off the tower. This leads to health being calculated like Smash Bros. with a percentage meter showing how much knockback you will take. You can either inflict damange with basic punches or with special abilities assigned to Q, E, and R. These abilities randomly roll into another one once you use it. You start with 3, and get more through chests that will add more to your pool. I think this is a fun enough premise, but the problem I'm having is that the combat isn't very interesting enough. Spam your basic bunches to (slowly) add percentage on, or spam your abilities (and the starting abilities do not feel particularly good). Overall I think this game just needs more *oomph* to be good.
