Golden Soul is an action-adventure RPG developed by Lexuslight and published by FizzStarLab that combines fantasy exploration, narrative-driven role-playing, puzzle solving, and fast-paced combat into an experience heavily focused on identity and personal purpose. Built with retro-inspired visuals and choice-based progression, the game blends emotional storytelling with traditional adventure mechanics while exploring larger themes surrounding humanity, memory, and self-discovery. Rather than relying entirely on combat or progression systems to maintain engagement, Golden Soul places much of its strength in atmosphere and narrative ambition. The story begins from an unusual and emotionally heavy premise. After a tragic event leaves the protagonist trapped within a forgotten magical abyss for decades, existence itself becomes uncertain. Pretty good story. Definitely work your money. good gameplay and good story. 9/10, highly recommended.

A charming, if a bit unpolished, game that wear it's inspirations on the sleeves.

Still playing the game, but first impressions — it's good. Has bosses and a storyline, which I like. The pixel art looks great, reminds me of 90s games (I'm a 90s kid, so I appreciate that)

Great game! Nice pixel art, good soundtrack. A very interesting story. An impressive amount of work for a solo developer.
