About Gordian Rooms 2: A curious island Prologue
Welcome back to Gordian Rooms! On one sunny day you were strolling down your newfound mansion and successfully stumbled into a yet undiscovered part of it.
Just as your luck would have it the door closed behind you before you could escape, like in the good old days...
Once again you were left to your own devices to challenge your uncle's final surprise!
The prologue version of Gordian Rooms 2: A curious island aims to bridge the events between the prequel and the sequel.
You will be able to experience all the new features that we have worked on but in a different location than the Isle of Lye, namely a yet unseen part of your uncle's mansion.
We improved nearly every aspect of the game since the first episode's release.
Here are some features you can definitely expect:
- Free roaming movement
- Redesigned User Interface and User Experience
- Vastly improved visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 5 and Lumen
- Full controller support
The rest you need to find out for yourself, well only if you can escape...

Just finished playing the entire thing and really enjoyed it. It's not for the faint of heart, though. But puzzles are challenging and there is a promise of greater things to come.1 found this helpful
"Gordian Rooms 2: A curious island Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Gordian Rooms 2". Gordian Rooms 2 is a not unreasonable looking first person puzzle/adventure game along the lines of Myst... in fact it's possibly worth even considering for a recommendation if the price wasn't so absurd (which is part of the reason, I suspect, that Gordian Rooms 2 largely failed to attract any attention... or sales... from the millions of gamers on Steam). But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Gordian Rooms 2, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Gordian Rooms 2: A curious island Prologue" too. The objective of this advertisement is to convince you to fork over a whopping TWENTY FIVE BUCKS fo…1 found this helpful
Beautiful calming music, tricky but not too hard puzzles/riddles and it looks beautiful. I like it very much!1 found this helpful
fun game but a bit figgity to play on a pc
Controls are so clunky and imprecise that this is effectively unplayable, even though my system seems fine according to the spec. So there's no point in buying the full game (which, based on Gordian Rooms 1, I might have considered).
