Gordy is an unconventional indie horror adventure that embraces surreal storytelling, dark humor, and emotional character development to create an experience that feels refreshingly different from the typical psychological thriller. Developed and published by MyGrandfather Games, the game centers on a lonely hermit whose quiet life in the wilderness changes after meeting Gordy, a strange feral man with unpredictable behavior. What begins as an oddly charming tale of companionship gradually transforms into a disturbing journey as an unknown corruption spreads through the forest, forcing players to question both the world around them and the fragile bond they have built. The game's unusual concept immediately captures attention, blending absurd comedy with unsettling suspense in a way that remains memorable throughout its brief runtime. Rather than relying on lengthy exposition, Gordy tells its story through exploration, conversations, and carefully paced environmental changes. The forest initially feels peaceful and inviting, encouraging players to enjoy the odd friendship that develops between the protagonist and Gordy. My dad had a friend named Gordy and when I was little we used to visit his house for weed that he grew out of his garage. Of course, I didn't know it was for weed, I just thought my dad had a friend he would talk to while I sat in the kitchen with his wife. Their home smelled of cigarettes and dogs, and in the garage Gordy not only had a tarped-off section where the weed grew but also a weird fortress of empty boxes of Busch 30-packs. Like wall-to-wall boxes, it was fascinating. Gordy, like the Gordy of this game, had few words to say. He was a red-faced man with a walrus mustache who wore exclusively gray graphic t-shirts with things like eagles and motorcycles on them. He made his own bullets, kept a handheld ham radio in his pocket, and his wife had a smoker's growl that would put most truckers to shame. Somehow, both main characters of this game manage to be the Gordy I knew in my childhood - hunted, mostly grunted, and definitely consumed squirrel at some point in his life. So I found this game to be immensely endearing. All that's missing is the fortress of Busch and ugly brown blankets that were purchased with tabs from cigarette boxes.

Another extremely goofy game from MyGrandfather Games with godly voice acting. Great dance moves from Gordy.
GORDY
Yet another MGG goofy title except this time, you are an hermit, hiding/living in the woods and you get to meet strange characters yet again! No technical issues nor bugs encountered. UltraWide monitor proper support as well. So far, this one is my least favorite one from the MGG collection. The areas are way too big to wander around with the repetitive hunting objectives. I didn't found it funny too compared to previous MGG games. If you already have MGG collection, you might as well give it a shot since theses games are very short and can be entertaining too but, you wouldn't miss much if you skip this one! Maybe watch a playthrough on YouTube!
