A bit harsh if you don't buy enought pots after your done with villlages. Works nicely

RPG Maker strikes again! "Heroes of Xanfurth" is one of hundreds of low effort RPG Maker flips spamming the store. RPG Maker is designed specifically to be used by children, in their own words, "These easy to use tools are simple enough for a child". It's just a bunch of canned assets mixed with cringey high school anime club fan fiction. This is a painfully generic RPG Maker asset flip where you control an 18 year old who runs a mercenary company and of course gets to date the developers imaginary girlfriend. Extremely poor map layout and general mishandling of the RPG Maker construction kit is of course coupled with our expected high school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing, which is of course pure cringe. Like other RPG Maker "games", the game engine is extremely low quality. It displays badly in fullscreen, and has no real graphics settings or HD support. It's not up to the same standard we expect from a modern PC game. We can make the argument that construction kit toys like RPG Maker are intended for making small games and demos and things to pass around with friends. simple but fun

This was fun! Took me a bit to figure out the controls in the beginning (did I miss a tutorial soemwhere?) but these were 8 hours well spent. I hope there's a part two someday! In the meantime, I''l test out the other classes :)

Very short game, but has interesting story line. Could use some polishing such as larger selection of equips and more opportunities to get upper tier equips and items to increase / decrease encounter rates. Still really good for F2P.

Short for my taste, 5h play time. Started great, but at some point i felt like devs sped up and finished game half way.
