Welcome to the endless temple of GRUEL. Get wacky weapons, destroy freaky creatures and collect massive amounts of gold! In this first-person boomer-shooter its time to say goodbye to your basic ways of tactical gunman-ship and embrace the CHAOS!
In the temple of GRUEL, nothing is certain. Who knows what room comes next? On top of that, the temple is ENDLESS! That means you can get ∞ amounts of gold! So gain as much treasure from the temple as you possibly can, and let you top the charts!
To guard the amazing treasures you can find, there are hordes of monsters that just came out of the radiated freaks factory for you to pummel into oblivion! But they will not go down without a fight. From floating jellyfish to psycho magicians. We got them all!
To defeat those crazy freaks, we will need guns. Tons of them. Luckily, our dealer just got us a ton of bargain bin weapons ready to use. They break, They don't have a ton of ammo, but they can shoot fish, prism shards, acid or even.. coins?! Get creative with this big arsenal of innovative throw-away weaponry! But do not forget your biggest gun, your kick!
Is the temple rough on you? No worries, we have the BIGGEST, GREATEST artifacts inside of our rooms to help you defeat everything in your path with ease! They will improve your ability to do almost anything! It will bring you even deeper into the temple!!

this game NEEDS bosses or progression, its far too repetitive. There is no meaningful sense of progression in this game, its a continuous loop of: enter room, fight guys, enter room, fight guys, enter room, fight guys, go to shop, repeat. its fun for the first few times but it absolutely needs some sort of progression. any boss, good or bad i dont care it NEEDS something.2 found this helpful

Might be the single best game on steam 👍
i don't know why there isn't so many videos talking about this game. this game is PEAK. all i wish for more lore and mods for the game. just give BRUTAL GRUEL and me life is yours. 100/10 STARS
Never felt so satisfied spending 10 bucks 10/10
THE Boomer Shooter to play! If you like fun, play Gruel. It’s such a nice break from modern mainstream shooter gameplay loops.
