Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal

Call me cold-blooded but this is the stupidest storyline I have ever seen from a Game House title. Drop all the tears you want. For me, I just genuinely found it manipulative and repulsive. As a hospital-themed title, I get it that the topics of life and death and the way to live that life are ineluctable. Yet, are these plots really necessary for such a casual game? They are not even well written for crying out loud, just some dramas of cliché with glaring obviousness for emotional manipulation. Anyway, it's a purely personal 0 out of 10 right after 100%ed this game.

I enjoy time management games, but I personally think this is highly overpriced for something that has relatively similar levels. The story isn't that memorable to me. I would suggest getting it on sale.

A fun game, with positives that outweigh the drawbacks. It's not high art, but it is a well-constructed time management game with a story that is deliciously schmaltzy. The gameplay is pretty straightforward, and it's really easy to three-star every level, but doing well on a level stays satisfying. It's not for everyone, because the gameplay loop stays exactly the same (with each level set only changing in visual theming), but the gameplay is solid enough that it really didn't bother me. On a meta level, you can see pretty clearly that this was originally a mobile game that featured microtransactions. Having those removed greatly improves the experience, which probably goes without saying. It's interesting playing the game, because you can see the holes where microtransactions would have been and just feel grateful that you dodged that bullet. The story is the best kind of cheese. Medical drama with more of a focus on Big Feelings than scientific verisimilitude, which I really enjoyed. I got way more invested in the Little Creek crew than I expected!
